Who needs a wardrobe when you can have a sauna?
A walk-in wardrobe in Parnell, turned into a full-spec hybrid sauna.
Dream customers with the right attitude. They knew exactly what they wanted, were open to our ideas, and had a walk-in wardrobe they were happy to give up. Fair trade, we reckon.
The room had a curved wall, so everything from the framing to the spruce lining had to follow it. Inside there's a Harvia Topclass Combi heater with digitally controlled humidity, full-spectrum infrared panels, mechanical ventilation for fresh air, a starry fibre-optic ceiling and LED lighting along the benches.
And the setting? A home gym and relaxation area next door, recliners facing a full-size lap pool, and a tennis court below. Add a steam room and you'd be in Maldives territory. Just saying.
Dream customers with the right attitude: they knew exactly what they wanted, and were happy to hear our ideas too.
One room, two kinds of heat.
The sauna
- Walk-in wardrobe converted, curved wall and all
- Harvia Topclass Combi heater with digital humidity control
- Full-spectrum infrared on the wall, behind the backrest and under the bench
