The North Shore is our backyard. Our workshop is at 613 Whangaparaoa Road in Stanmore Bay, so Takapuna, Milford, Castor Bay, Browns Bay, Torbay and Albany are all a short drive away.
We've built saunas all over the Shore: a compact cedar sauna built into joinery off a deck in Castor Bay, a hybrid with infrared in the benches in Torbay, and a sauna on the footprint of an old outdoor spa in Takapuna. We've also worked in pool houses, gyms, leisure centres and apartment complexes across the Shore and the Hibiscus Coast.
Sections here come in every shape, from big coastal properties to tight townhouse lots. That's why every sauna we build is designed for its space, not pulled out of a catalogue.

Every room we build is designed for its space. That might be a standalone outdoor sauna, a sauna in the pool house, a corner of the garage, or a compact sauna built into joinery. We also build steam rooms and hybrid saunas with a traditional heater and infrared together, and wood-fired saunas where there's no power to spare.
Benches are made and test-fitted in our Auckland workshop, then the room is built on site with Finnish and Estonian sauna timber and Harvia heaters we import ourselves. Behind the walls it's the same every time: proper insulation, a real vapour barrier, heat-rated cable and good ventilation.

Being local makes a difference. We can pop round to measure up, you can visit the workshop to see and feel the timber before you choose, and if anything ever needs attention after handover, we're not far away.
Coastal properties need a bit of extra thought: salt air, wind and sun are hard on outdoor timber and fittings. We pick materials and finishes with that in mind, so an outdoor sauna near the beach still looks good years later.

We service saunas whether we built them or not: worn-out stones, tired benches, heaters that take forever to heat, poor ventilation and smells. A new heater or a set of fresh benches can make an old sauna feel new again.
