We've built and serviced saunas around the region for years: in homes, gyms, health and wellness facilities, and a community gym in the Wairarapa. From city townhouses on steep sections to lifestyle blocks in the hills, every one is designed for its space.
Wellington sections can be tricky: steep, tight and windy. That's where a custom build earns its keep. We've fitted saunas into garages, spare rooms, bathrooms and even custom joinery, and outdoor saunas onto decks and terraces.

Every room we build is designed for its space. That might be a standalone outdoor sauna, a sauna in the pool house, a corner of the garage, or a compact sauna built into joinery. We also build steam rooms and hybrid saunas with a traditional heater and infrared together, and wood-fired saunas where there's no power to spare.
Benches are made and test-fitted in our Auckland workshop, then the room is built on site with Finnish and Estonian sauna timber and Harvia heaters we import ourselves. Behind the walls it's the same every time: proper insulation, a real vapour barrier, heat-rated cable and good ventilation.

Wind and rain are hard on an outdoor sauna. A solid structure, good insulation, a real vapour barrier and careful detailing around doors and roofs keep the weather out and the heat in.
Indoors, ventilation matters just as much: a well-ventilated sauna heats evenly, feels fresher and dries out properly afterwards, which is what keeps the timber sound for decades.
Benches are made and test-fitted in our Auckland workshop, then the room is built on site by our own team.
Servicing, repairs and upgrades.
We service saunas whether we built them or not: worn-out stones, tired benches, heaters that take forever to heat, poor ventilation and smells. A new heater or a set of fresh benches can make an old sauna feel new again.
